An antibody blood test is used to establish if antibodies are present to fight the virus that causes COVID-19. These antibodies are proteins which your immune system creates and are produced from previous infection.
An antibodies test does not diagnose current infection as it can take 1 to 3 weeks for the body to produce these antibodies following infection. Our {

Antibody testing is not to be used to check if you are immune to COVID-19 and to decide if vaccination is required.
